Niceties

Yesterday, my cousin got married (congrats!!) and it was a very formal occasion.  Now if you know me, you know I don't like to dress for looks, I most definitely will grab a pair of pants and a shirt off my floor if I'm feeling especially tired, but yesterday, I realized looking nice makes me feel nice...  In one fell swoop, my entire outlook on style was changed.  I felt good wearing a button up shirt and tie, with matching shoes and slacks.  Maybe it's just getting older, but a lot of things have changed.  I turn eighteen in a little over a month (holy fuck).  Will I have rights?  Will people treat me differently?  For years I've done basically the same thing.  I play video games, or Pokemon, or Magic, I watch bad TV, read books, and wash, rinse, repeat.  I don't want that to go away, but I do know that things will, and are, going to change.  But I also know that I want to get a suit...it's fun to look dapper.
